Retrofit Excellence: Bringing Order to Existing EV Infrastructure

Most discussions around EV cable management focus on the future – new stations where everything is integrated from day one. But what about the thousands of stations already in the ground?

Too often, existing sites are left with tangled cables and safety hazards due to perceived costs or installation complexity. At BESSUN, we’re changing that narrative. As specialists in EV charger cable management system, we know that retrofitting isn’t just a possibility—it’s a necessity for safety, site longevity, and a premium user experience.

See how we have transformed existing charging sations below.

FAQ

Is there a right version and left version?

There is no left or right version. The spring tube becomes rotatable after loosening screws, then it can be the same direction.

The difference between the basic type and the extended type is the length.

No MOQ. The sample lead time is 10 ~ 12 days.

To ensure we provide the best possible solution, it would be great to receive the following information:

  • Cable Length
  • Cable Diameter
  • Total Cable Weight

No, the springs are not identical across all versions. Each model is equipped with a specific spring suitable to its load capacity and operational requirements.

If your requirements fall between two models, we strongly recommend selecting the next higher capacity model.

Example: For a diameter of 32mm, length of 7m, and weight of 17kg, you should choose the BSM-SB-1100-D34-37 rather than the BSM-SB-1100-D30-33.

Selecting a model with a slightly higher specification ensures safer operation and longer service life for the spring mechanism.

Unfortunately, no. Due to the unique design of this system, third-party cable clamps are unlikely to be compatible.

Yes. The mounting area must be structurally reinforced to prevent deformation under the weight of the CMS. We recommend using a mounting surface with a sheet metal thickness of at least 5 mm to ensure adequate stability.
