Spring Balancer for EV Charging Stations
The BESSUN Spring Balancer uses a vertical spring-assisted support structure to balance the charging cable while allowing the support to follow the cable direction during use.
Available in charger-mounted and free-standing configurations, they provide flexible cable management solutions for different charging station designs and installation requirements.
Spring Balancer in Action
See how the BESSUN Spring Balancer supports EV charging cables and assists cable movement during charging, helping reduce handling effort and cable dragging.
Note: This video demonstrates the charger-mounted BSM-SB configuration. Free-standing configurations are also available for different installation requirements.
Why Use a Spring Balancer?
Cable Retractors provide a compact and practical solution for EV charging cable management, while Swing Arms offer a different cable handling experience through their articulated arm structure.
However, not every DC charging station has sufficient space or structural capacity to accommodate a Swing Arm.
BESSUN Spring Balancers are designed to bridge this gap, combining spring-assisted cable support with rotational movement in a relatively compact structure.
This provides an alternative for charging stations where improved cable handling is required but installing a conventional Swing Arm may not be practical.
Flexible Installation
Charger-mounted and free-standing configurations accommodate different charging station designs and retrofit requirements.
Reduce Cable Dragging
Helps support charging cable weight and reduce contact with the ground during use.
Reduce Bending & Twisting
Provides an alternative where the charger structure or available space is unsuitable for a conventional Swivel Arm Balancer.
Improve Cable Handling
Spring-assisted cable support and rotational movement help users maneuver charging cables with less effort.
Choose Your Spring Balancer
BESSUN offers different Spring Balancer configurations to accommodate various charging cable specifications and installation requirements.
Choose between charger-mounted and free-standing configurations based on your charging station structure, available installation space, and cable management needs.

Notes:
- Free-standing configuration: The BSM-SB-2000-S free-standing version is not listed separately in the table, as it uses the same spring balancer configuration with an additional supporting tube.
- Extended length: Extended lengths of up to 10 m may be possible depending on the cable specifications and application conditions, subject to technical evaluation.

QUICK ANSWERS
FAQ
Is there a right-hand and left-hand version?
No. A separate right-hand or left-hand version is not required. The installation direction can be adjusted by loosening the fixing screws, rotating the support tube to the required position, and then tightening the screws again.
What is the difference between basic type and extended type?
The 880 mm and 1100 mm versions refer to Overall Length.
What is your MOQ?
No MOQ. The sample lead time is 10 ~ 12 days.
What information should I provide when sending an inquiry?
To ensure we provide the best possible solution, it would be great to receive the following information:
- Cable length
- Cable diameter
- Cable weight
- Installation height / mounting position
Do all versions use the same spring?
No, the springs are not identical across all versions. Each model is equipped with a specific spring suitable to its load capacity and operational requirements.
How should I select a model if my specific weight or length exceeds the standard specifications in the table? (e.g., Diameter: 32mm, Length: 7m, Weight: 17kg)
If your requirements fall between two models, we strongly recommend selecting the next higher capacity model.
Example: For a diameter of 32mm, length of 7m, and weight of 17kg, you should choose the BSM-SB-1100-D34-37 rather than the BSM-SB-1100-D30-33.
Selecting a model with a slightly higher specification ensures safer operation and longer service life for the spring mechanism.
Before placing an order, we recommend confirming the final model selection with BESSUN based on your cable specifications and installation conditions.
Can I use my own cable clamps with this cable management system?
Unfortunately, no. Due to the unique design of this system, third-party cable clamps are unlikely to be compatible.
Do DC charger panels require reinforcement for Spring Balancer installation?
The mounting area should have sufficient structural strength to support the Spring Balancer during operation. As a general reference, approximately 5 mm sheet metal can be considered, but the actual requirement depends on the charger structure and mounting conditions.
If the mounting panel is relatively thin or does not provide sufficient rigidity, additional reinforcement or a mounting plate is recommended.
