Buffer - Recoil Protection & Noise Reductio

To ensure a smooth and quiet operation, our swivel arm balancers feature an integrated buffer system. This component effectively dampens the recoil force and minimizes noise when the arm retracts.

Note: The BSM-SA2 buffer is dimensionally different from the BSM-SA1 version and is not interchangeable.

For BSM-SA2, can you customize the length?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer customized lengths for the BSM-SA2. This is because the system consists of three parts, which reduces the maximum load capacity.

Max. load: 30 kg@600mm Note: we also tested it at full extension. Safety Factor: 2.0x working load. No breakage.

If you require a higher max. load capacity, we recommend choosing the BSM-SA1 or BSM-SA3, as they feature a shorter main arm.

Yes, but it is not recommended. The buffer is designed to minimize recoil force and noise. 

Yes, you can. However, we highly recommend using our specialized cable clamps. Similar to the BSM-SA1 series, we offer a quick-connection type clamp designed for seamless integration with our swivel arm balancers, ensuring optimal performance and ease of installation.

We currently use PE rope because our data shows it is more resilient and lasts longer than stainless steel in high-frequency use cases. While you are welcome to perform a replacement at your site, we have standardized PE rope to ensure the highest reliability and production efficiency for all our clients.
